Description
This female Cheetah was found resting on a termite mound with her three cubs, only one of which is visible here. A Cheetah can be distinguished from a Leopard by the fact that their spots are solid dark brown/black and the interesting black line extending from the eyes to the corner of the mouth. They are thought to be the fastest animal on the planet, reaching top speeds of up to sevety miles per hour!
